This policy sets out the basis on which your personal data will be collected, held and processed by BIA Systems Ltd.

We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy.

Should we for any reason elect to change this Privacy Policy the changes will be posted here in a timely manner, so that you are always kept informed of how we collect and use the information, and when we may disclose it to others.

 

This privacy policy applies to personal data we collect from users who use Bia platform services.  

 

Definition: 

 

Users: are subscribers to Bia’s SaaS automation platform.

Bia services: refers to the Bia’s SaaS automation platform tools and consultancy services.

Personal data: means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person;

This Privacy Policy does not apply to our processing of the personal data of our business customers’ consumer or end customer. We process that consumer or end customer information on behalf of our business customers in our capacity as a service provider. Our processing of that information is governed by our agreement with our business customers.

 

Information collection:

We process personal data on the basis of the consent given by the Users (Data Subjects) for the processing of their personal data for one or more specific reasons and to the extent of that consent.

We collect personal data about users when they provide information directly to us or when it is automatically collected in connection with their use of our Services. The following subsections describe the types of data we collect:

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us by filling in forms on our site: first name, last name, email addresses, business email, phone number, country, company, department.

 

Credentials:  We collect passwords, password hints, and similar security information used for authentication and account access.  

 

We collect and processes only Personal Data that is actually needed in order to achieve its processing purposes.

 

Bia systems will not process Personal Data unless the User (Data Subject) has given consent to the processing of their Personal Data for one or more specific purposes, prior to entering into a contract.

 

Data Retention

We will only keep Bia platform’s Users personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting or other legal requirements). No purpose in this policy will require us keeping your personal information for longer than 2 years.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process Users personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

Users’ rights

Users have the following data protection rights:

• to be provided with any information and communication related to the processing of their data in a concise, transparent, intelligible and easily accessible form, using clear and plain language;

• to be informed about the exact scope of the personal data collected with respect to them; as well as to be provided with contact details of the controller of that data; the contact details of data protection officer, where applicable; purposes of the processing of the collected personal data, as well as the legal basis for the processing; recipients and categories of recipients of the personal data, if any;

• to access the personal data concerning them;

• to correct and update the personal data concerning them;

• to request rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning them;

• to request deletion of the personal data concerning them; 

• to request restriction of the personal data concerning them;  

• to object to processing of the personal data concerning them.

 

Users may update or change the personal information they have provided to us by logging into the Bia platform. 

 

We provide appropriate methods for facilitating the exercise of your data protection rights.  In case you have any questions or request with respect to the exercise of your rights you can contact us on legal@bia-sysyems.tech. We respond to all inquiries and requests we receive from individuals willing to exercise their data protection rights in accordance with applicable data protection law. We may ask you to verify your identity in order to help us respond efficiently to your request.

Sharing information

• Consent: We may process your data if users have given us specific consent to use their personal information in a specific purpose.  

• Legitimate Interests: We may process user’s data when it is reasonably necessary to achieve our legitimate business interests.  

• Performance of a Contract: Where we have entered into a contract with client, we may process their personal information to fulfil the terms of our contract.  

• Legal Obligations: We may disclose user’s information where we are legally required to do so in order to comply with applicable law, governmental requests, a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process, such as in response to a court order or a subpoena (including in response to public authorities to meet national security or law enforcement requirements).  

 

We only share and disclose user’s information with the following third parties.

Data protection

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, users should only access the Bia services within a secure environment and is responsible for the selection and use of any privacy settings or security capabilities within Third-Party Applications.
